London’s favourite spirit is getting its own festival with the inaugural World Gin Day London hitting the capital this week.
The four-day festival of all things gin will be taking over London on Thursday 7th and will be running until 10th June. This new gin extravaganza will feature a handpicked selection of 75 of London’s finest bars – including Tony Conigliaro’s Untitled; the world-famous Callooh Callay; and Nightjar’s sister bar, Oriole – serving an array of bespoke £6 gin cocktails to those with a Digital Festival Pass (purchasable here for £10).
In addition to cheap and tasty cocktails, World Gin Day London will see pop-ups, events and parties taking place all about town, with the “Juniper Goddess” placed firmly at the centre of all activities.
A few event highlights include:
Bombay Sapphire & Mr Fogg’s Tuk Tuk Tour
A gin tour exploring the Victorian bar collection of Mr Fogg’s with a signature Bombay Sapphire cocktail being served at each venue. Travelling between each bar on bespoke Bombay Sapphire tuk tuks, guests will start at Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour in Covent Garden, before moving onto Mr Fogg’s Tavern for a tasty snack alongside their cocktail, finishing up at (you guessed it) Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair.
7th June || Tours start at 7pm / 8pm / 9pm
Tickets £25 per person and include three cocktails and a snack. Tickets can be purchased at
The Tanqueray Terraces
To celebrate the summer season, Tanqueray has transformed terraces across London. From glorious rooftop tea gardens to fountains spilling out rose negronis, guests can escape into an oasis of gin cocktails in some of the cities favourite spots. Highlights include a Tanqueray No.TEN Chinese Tea Garden at Yauatcha City; a Tanqueray Garden at The Sipping Room in Canary Wharf; and a Tanqueray Lovage rooftop at Aqua Kyoto celebrating the gin’s brand-new expression.
The much-loved gin festival, Junipalooza is set to return to Tobacco Dock for its fifth year on Saturday 9th June. Renowned as THE connoisseurs’ gin tasting, this year the show will feature more gins than ever before. Junipalooza prides itself on having the Master Distillers or Owners of each gin company present and pouring samples – no matter where their distillery is based – providing attendees with the exclusive opportunity to meet the personalities behind their favourite spirit. Upon entry, ticket holders receive a tasting glass to sample the many different gins on offer throughout the four-hour event.
