What is London Mezcal Week?
Since its birth three years ago, the brainchild of London duo Melanie Symond (QuiQuiRiQui) and Thea Cummings (Founder of Dangerous Don) has become an impassioned reveller, toddling merrily about extolling the virtues of the iconic Oaxaca spirit.
The week-long celebration has this year been confined to TT Liquor in Shoreditch for a focused schedule of events.
Tuesday 16th July, 6:30pm – 9:30pm.
TT Liquor will be teaming up with artisanal mezcal producers, Pensador Mezcal, for a screening of Alfonso Cuaron’s award-winning film Y Tu Mana Tambien. Hosted in the TT Liquor cinema, viewers will get a guided mezcal tasting with Pensador, followed by the film screening and complimentary cocktail.
Tickets cost £15 (£20 for two). Buy them here and use code SATEDLOVESMEZCAL for a 15% discount.
Women in Business Seminar – ‘The Art of Getting Sh** Done’
Wednesday 17th July, 4:00pm – 6:30pm
Thea Cumming (London Mezcal Week Co-Founder and Founder of mezcal brand, Dangerous Don) will be teaming up with Wonder Works to present “The Art Of Getting Sh** Done – Stories of Female Brand Owners”. The afternoon will involve a series of discussion and talks with women in the drinks industry who have experience of running successful brands, all (naturally) accompanied by mezcal cocktails.

After the film, a five-course, Mexican-inspired meal by guest chef Paola Carlini (menu available here) will be paired with TT Liquor cocktails and agave spirits.
