So, Valentine’s Day is upon us once more and if you’re anything like us, you want to celebrate it away from the heart-shaped chocolates, vomit-inducing pink foil balloons and the overpriced, over-booked restaurants where swooning couples recite clichés at one another and try to refrain from arguing on this most romantically pressure-ridden of days. How about starting your night off with something intriguingly erotic and genuinely fun that you’ll both enjoy? Sound good? Welcome to Sated’s Actually Interesting Valentine’s Day Guide.
Super Lyan x Rosie Von Boschan
Pop-Up Lingerie Shop & Nipple Tassel Making Masterclasses
For an alternative (and cheeky) Valentine’s Day date spot, basement bar Super Lyan has partnered with the delightfully debaucherous, boutique lingerie designer, Rosie von Boschan, whose delicate erotic lingerie is inspired by courtesans and enchantresses of bygone eras.
A special menu of tongue-in-cheek cocktails will be available alongside a pop-up lingerie shop and nipple tassel making masterclasses. Those wishing to get hands on (so to speak) will be able to craft their own nipple tassels in a masterclass led by Rosie. The drinks, created by General Manager Maja Jaworska, have been inspired by the senses and arousal:
1 – TASTE – inspired by ingredients that make you taste even better…
Ingredients: Plantation Pineapple, double pineapple, mint stinger
A tongue in cheek take on ingredients that are meant to make you more appealing to your partner.
2 – SMELL – inspired by smells that arouse and attract
Ingredients: Mr Lyan Gin, roasted pumpkin, lavender, lemon
According to a recent scientific study, a combination of pumpkin and lavender aromas is more arousing to men than the classical perfume.
3 – TOUCH – inspired by flavours that make you want to get close
Ingredients: Dewars 12, woodruff honey, applewood smoke, mead
A nod to Saint Valentine as a patron of the bees, the addition of honey, and comforting aromas of hay and woodspice is designed to relax and soothe.

The pair are offering the unique opportunity to send in a photo that can be printed on comfortable padded insoles that you can then cut to fit your favourite pair of shoes at £10 a pair.
Simply email a high resolution digital image that you have taken to firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details, shoe size and – most crucially – a short description of who broke your heart and the emotional trauma you have experienced, to arrive by the end of February.
