Laurent-Perrier Champagne Midsummer Terrace to launch at Mondrian London


Flowers will be flooding the exterior of the Mondrian London in time for summer, and will be bringing a champagne bar with them.

Fans of the bubbly should look forward to a summer of sipping champagne at the Mondrian London, who has partnered with Laurent-Perrier for a very special terrace alongside the banks of the Thames.

Termed the Midsummer Terrace, Mondrian London at Sea Containersrestaurant will be opening a floral outdoor environment to celebrate 50 years of Laurent-Perrier’s Cuvée Rosé, and with it a menu inspired by the sweet pink drink.

As part of these celebrations, the a la carte menu will include dishes such as Strawberry-and-Champagne-cured Seabass and Scallops with Chickpea Polenta, but most tempting of all is the Laurent-Perrier Champagne flight. This three-flute selection offers up the winemaker’s Brut, Cuvée Rose and Vintage, perfect tipples in a flowery riverside paradise.

The terrace itself will be designed as a relaxed space to make the most of summer regardless of the time of day. Pink wildflowers complements the celebrated drink, as will the pastel pink furnishings and flower boxes. The result will be a garden-like experience, with white picket fences and the soft aroma of flowers fill the air. It’s likely to be an idyllic spot whether you’re there for the food or the bubbly. The accompanying champagne bar will be available for private hire and for walk-ins, and will be capable of seating up to 15 people as they sip the fizzy drink with a view of the river.

The Midsummer Terrace will be open from May 2nd  (providing Londoners with the perfect way to start the Bank Holiday weekend) and will run throughout summer, closing some time at the end of September.
