The Chefs

This is truly a collaboration of epic proportions. Both chefs are beyond exceptional in their own rights, so together, we can only imagine…

Anne-Sophie Pic

One of the most decorated Michelin-starred chefs in the world, Anne-Sophie Pic currently holds eight stars across her four restaurants and is the only female chef in France to hold three Michelin stars for her family restaurant, Maison Pic in Valence. Her London restaurant, La Dame de Pic received two stars in the 2020 Michelin Guide.

Clare Smyth is similarly an internationally renowned Michelin-star chef and remains the first and only female chef to run a restaurant with three Michelin-stars in the UK.  She was awarded two stars as a new entry into the 2019 Michelin Guide for her debut restaurant, Core by Clare Smyth, and was also named The World’s Best Female Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

For one evening only, the two chefs will welcome guests to a celebration of women in the restaurant industry. Combining their talents, creativity and teamwork, they will each showcase a selection of signature dishes as part of the six course tasting menu, interacting with guests throughout the evening.

The Menu

On arrival, guests will be served a selection of canapés from Anne-Sophie and Clare followed by a first course from Anne-Sophie’s kitchen of Steak Tartare seasoned with Mustard and Wagyu Beef Emulsion, Beetroot, Smoked Pike Caviar and Lovage Ice Cream.

Core’s Head Sommelier Gareth Ferreira and La Dame de Pic’s Director of Wine Jan Konetzki have created a unique wine pairing menu sourced from leading female wine-makers and producers.

About the event, Anne-Sophie says:

“I shared an amazing time with Clare Smyth last year. I welcomed her in La Dame de Pic London and let her be part of my universe; now it’s my turn to be heading to Core and be a part of hers. The evening is so meaningful as we celebrate women in the hospitality industry and I’m thrilled to be working together with Clare again.”
