What is The Whisky Exchange?

The Whisky Exchange is one of the world’s most well-known and respected drinks specialists.

It was founded in 1999 by brothers Sukhinder and Rajibir Signgh, who had grown up helping out their parents’ revolutionary and award-winning wine and spirits shop “The Nest” in Hanwell. When their parents decided to retire in 1999, the brothers took the difficult decision to sell the family business and founded The Whisky Exchange – and online portal where whisky fans could buy, sell or swap the bottles listed.

Twenty years on, it has grown to become the internet’s number-one retailer of whisky and other spirits, currently stocking nearly 3,500 whiskies (of which about 2,300 are Single Malt Scotches), more than 500 rums, around 400 vodkas, 550 or so Cognacs and Armagnacs, some 400 gins, 150 Tequilas and nearly 1,000 specialist liqueurs.
