Pour & Sip
Pour & Sip is a subscription club and community that gives whisky lovers (new and expert alike) the chance to try incredible whiskies – including rare bottlings – without having to commit to buying a full-sized bottle. Run by multi-award-winning online drinks distributors Master of Malt, subscribers will receive a pack of hand-picked tasters of whisky from all around the world, as well as access to online tastings hosted by an expert team, a rewards programme, a Members Store with discounts on full-sized bottled, exclusive whisky features and more.
New customers will receive a Welcome Pack with a pair of Glencairn tasting glasses, a ‘How to Taste Whisky’ card, tasting notes, plus the first five 30ml whisky samples. After that, subscribers will continue to receive packs containing five 30ml whisky samples and tasting note cards (complete with distillery info, each sample’s backstory & space for their own notes) in the post every month (or every two months if preferred). Members have complete control over their subscription and can cancel any time.

– Talisker 8-Year-Old Special Release 2020
Daigeo’s annual Special Release, this year themed ‘Rare by Nature’. This maturation is the first of its kind from the Isle of Skye distillery, aged for eight years in casks which previously held pot-still Caribbean rum! Two radically different seaside locations meet in one expertly-balanced whisky, with Talisker’s smoke, peppery spice and seaweed flavours bolstered by tropical fruit from the cask.
– Kyrö Malt Rye
This is a shiny new release from the Finnish distillery, distilled entirely from malted Finnish wholegrain rye. It is actually the first Finnish single batch rye whisky and has been aged exclusively in new American white oak casks, imparting some creamier vanilla notes to the otherwise spicy whisky.
– Darkness 8-Year-Old
The folks at Darkness LOVE their sherry. After an initial maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels, this single malt Scotch (from an unknown distillery) was transferred to custom-made Olorosso sherry octave casks (smaller than your usual sherry butt) for at least three months. The increased surface-area-to-volume ratio makes for some super amped up cask influence – generous helpings of chocolate dried fruit and toasty spices await!
– J.J. Corry The Hanson – Batch 2
J.J.Corry is the first new whiskey bonder in Ireland for over 50 years! The Hanson is a blend of three casks of grain whiskey from a selection of Irish distilleries, bringing all those creamy vanilla notes that we know and love from grain.
– Jura 21-Year-Old Tide
Tide is a glorious 21-year-old single malt that has been treated to a dual maturation, initially in American white oak Bourbon barrels, packing in heaps of vanilla and caramel flavours, before being transferred to virgin American white oak, giving a slightly spicier character.
