Boondocks announces “The Mac Attack” Burger Challenge

Food challenge alert! Boondocks is launching a limited time, mammoth burger that is free if you can finish it.

On 11th May Boondocks, the naughty younger sibling of the Feed Your Soul family, will celebrate National Eat What You Want Day with a mammoth food challenge, created by founder Bea Vo.

Available for one week only, Bea will introduce “The Mac Attack”, a one-off monster special inspired by her love of southern soul food. The sky-high stack will comprise a towering trio of cheeseburgers, alternated with 3 deep fried mac and cheese patties smothered in garlic and Parmesan sauce and buffalo fried chicken, piled into one of Boondocks’ classic buns. Contenders will also have to take down a family-sized portion of Cajun fries and an extra-large milkshake to complete the challenge. Polish it off in 15 minutes and not only will it be on the house, but victors will take home a bag full of Boondocks swag as a reward.

For those unwilling to take on the challenge, but still wanting to get into the National Eat What You Want Day spirit, Boondocks’ full menu of American home-style dishes will be on hand. Those in search of epic fried chicken or the messiest burgers in town will not go hungry, with dishes from The Big Stax burger with spicy comeback sauce and maple glazed beef bacon, to classic Chicken and Waffles with lashings of maple syrup.

The Mac Attack eating challenge will launch on the 11th of May, available until the 18th of May. Free if completed or £30 à la carte.
