In celebration of the Spirit of Speyside and Fèis Ìle Festivals, Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) have announced the release of new single cask whiskies along with no fewer than three exclusive membership offers!

Of all the Scotch Whisky regions, Speyside and Islay are arguably the ones with the most conflicting flavour palates and the staunches of fans. This year, Scotch Malt Whisky Society is bravely hosting a “Region Rumble”, pitting Speyside and Islay single cask whiskies against one another in a series of events held at Spirit of Speyside (3^rd – 7^th May) and Fèis Ìle (25^th May – 2^nd June), as well as the release of 10 bottlings.

To commemorate this battle of the taste buds, the world-famous members’ club will be offering three limited run membership packages giving newcomers the opportunity to pick a side and walk away with membership + a bottle of Islay (a new release that has been held back especially for the occasion) or Speyside whisky. Pacifists not wishing to go one way or another can have the best of both worlds and choose membership plus a limited edition Mixed Festival Pack (3 x Islay whiskies and 2 x Speyside whiskies in 25ml drams).
